Frequently Asked Questions
Are carrier bags waterproof for rainy fall walks?
Most fabric carriers are water-resistant at best; unless a bag is specifically labeled waterproof with sealed seams or a coated shell, expect light moisture to wick through. For heavy rain choose a coated or waterproof model or use a compact rain cover.
Will a strap work with any rolled mat diameter?
Many simple loop straps are adjustable and will fit most rolled mats, but very thick mats (over 1/2-inch or very large diameters) may not be secure. Check the carrier or bag's stated max thickness/length before buying.
How do I keep my carrier and mat from smelling after outdoor use?
Wipe mats and synthetic carriers with mild soap and water after wet or muddy walks, air-dry completely before storing, and choose odor-free materials like TPE when possible. Avoid stuffing damp items into closed bags to prevent mildew and odors.
